Chornobyl Research and Development Institute will hold an online round table within the project “KROK do Bezpeky” (STEP to Safety)

On September 18, as part of the "KROK do Bezpeky" (STEP to Safety) project, Chornobyl Research and Development Institute will hold an online round table on the topic "Sources of Ionizing Radiation Outside State Regulation. How to Stimulate IRS Collection and Increase Radiation Safety in Dnipropetrovsk Region".

We gather specialists and representatives of public authorities involved in the system of management, control and utilization of radioactive waste and sources of ionizing radiation. The specialists and heads of regional departments and local authorities responsible for civil protection, rescuers and law enforcement officers, radiation safety experts, scientists, environmentalists, journalists of leading publications in the region will join the online meeting.

Within the round table there will be discussed the radiation safety system and ways to solve the urgent safety problem in the region.
